I earned my Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia in cell and molecular biology. I was a synthetic biologist at a Vancouver area biotechnology firm; my work led to three patents. Later, I went to the Sauder School of Business and earned my MBA. During the course of my MBA I consulted for Vancouver area businesses. I worked at the Rotman School of Management’s Creative Destruction lab where I led the Health Diagnostics stream. At present, I am a member of the Commercialization team at the University Health Network in Toronto.
